One of the great things about photography is the fact that it forces you to pause and observe, to look at the world frame by frame in search of hidden stories. But it only takes a short while to realize that there is a story in every frame of life. Mostly the stories are subtle or mundane but sometimes they are profound. To me photography is the search for profound stories in a subtle landscape.
On one of my evening walks, I paused to observe the sunset and out of the silhouette emerged this profound image that to me represented the ever prevelant strife in nature – the strong versus the brave.
