The air was still, the ground firm and then there was the silence. As my eyes were transfixed to the star studded sky, even the frantic thoughts began to slow down. In the sensory numbness that followed, how could I be sure if I was alive? It occured to me that it was only through the awareness of time. Maybe life is just that – an awareness of time.
Isn’t it strange then that for all that our eyes see, they don’t see time?
To me star trails are a way to see time.
