I scrambled with my toys

To go out and play

With the tempest…

Who came to my door

and kept incessantly howling away.

But when I did go out

The brat just turned around and flew away

Then as I came back to my room

Moping and sad

She threw a bolt at my window

That flashed with an incredulous glow!

She likes to play

But she must have her way!

And so we went out to play

A game of “Catch the bolt”

She cheated by spraying me

She taunted by swaying me

More than the game, it’s the teasing she loves

So she won by deceit

Like she always does…
